Could this not be because this is the heart rate your body needs to run? Heart rate doesn’t continually go up forever, once it reachs what’s needed to get oxygen to the muscles quickly enough it won’t rise any more.
Unless you mean it actually records a steady fall while you still can physically feel your working at the same rate.
This guy is trying really hard to disguise his South African accent. But I can spot it a mile away, I’d bet cash money he was either born in SA, grew up there or at least spent a long time there. That accent is unmistakable…

They are on sale for $129 at Best Buy right now. I am thinking about getting one as my first.
Mine just died after about 2 years of service. I am debating to have it fixed, refurbished, or just get a new one. It is a phenomenal piece of equipment and I don’t think I used more than 25% of what it can do. Totally worth it.
I just got the forerunner 310xt Im finding it impossible to figure out how to actually set it up and use it. I think I’ll return it. Im getting frustrated now.
BayAreaBiker, We are impressed that you do 12 hour bike rides. Why post it? Simply don’t buy the watch since it does not fit your need.
I’m thinking of getting a refurbished model, do you think it will have the same problem that you are experiencing?
